~The Joy of Forgiveness~

Psalm 32:1-11

1: "Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

2: Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

3: When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

4: For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into drought of summer.

5: I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin.

6: For this shall everyone that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

7: Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.

8: I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

9: Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.

10: Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.

11: Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous; and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart."

A blessedness of Answered Prayer

Psalm 30:1-12

1:"I WILL extol thee, O LORD, for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

2:O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

3: O LORD, thou hast brought my soul up from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

4: Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness.

 5: For his anger endureth but a moment in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

6: And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

7: LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.

8: I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.

9: WHat profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

10: Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.

11: Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

12: To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee forever."
