TABERNACLE OUTREACH MINISTRIES

  History

The ministry began on December 12, 1986 in a two room apartment on West End Ave in Vailsburg N.J, with two members. After one year we were able to rent another two room apartment and brake through the wall to enlarge our church. The membership then grew to about 15. After four years we purchased our first property at 409 Springfield Avenue in Newark, N.J. December 12, 1990 on the exact same date we started the ministry. Membership was on a growth at about 30 members. After another four years, we brought our present location at 244-250 Chancellor Avenue, Newark N.J. in the month of December 1994. Our church history has been based on Prayer, Bible Study, and Living a Holy Life. We are simple with our church rules.

1. We want you to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior
2. We want you to seek the first and second Baptism
3. We want you to be in our Bible school from general studies to your doctorate in theology
4. We want you to look forward to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ

Sunday School begins at 10:00 a.m

Sunday Morning Worship begins at 11:30 a.m

Wednesday Night Prayer begins at 7:00 p.m

Wednesday Night Bible School begins at 8:00 p.m

Friday Night Jubilee Service with a half hour of prayer beginning at 7:30 p.m, service immediately following at 8:00 p.m
